Meet our team!
Tami Winn and Jamie Lemke are the lead planners of TWE. This dynamic duo has been planning events together for more than 10 years. Tami’s design expertise and Jamie’s detail orientation have proven to be a great combination for flawless execution. Heather Delony heads up the floral production team and is the heart and soul behind the scenes ensuring all set up goes off without a hitch.

My love for events started when I was 16 working in a flower shop and then blossomed (no pun intended!) into what is now Tami Winn Events when I was just 23. I started the company with a vision, but it was small at the time. I used a 1-car garage on my parent’s property to work out of, moving after just a few months to their 3-car garage because I had already outgrown the space. Not many years later, my dreams were getting bigger, and I was excited to open a small office to meet clients and moved into a large warehouse that I split with my dad’s company. As you can tell, my parents were some of my biggest supporters! Since the company was growing, I knew it was time to add members to my team and those just happen to be individuals that I am still indebted to this day. They helped me build TWE into what it is and are still huge supporters of the business. During all these growing pains, I was pregnant with our second daughter and I must say, my husband Toby was awesome. He played Mr. Mom many times I could not be there because I was working late hours or all day and night on the weekends. If he had not supported me in the craziness of building a business, I don’t think TWE would be what it is today. So, to present times…all I can say is WOW! We moved the office location to Fort Worth in 2009 and things sort of blew up with almost 75 events in the first year. If you know me, you know I LOVE events and I think people could see that when I started meeting new clients. I thrive on creating something from nothing and transforming spaces. Meeting new people and establishing relationships is one of my favorite things about this job and I could ‘talk’ events all day long! People might describe me as outgoing and passionate, an absolute lover of life. I like to laugh those deep, really good belly laughs! I am fiercely loyal to those I care about and put my whole heart into everything I do. Outside of work, I am your typical soccer mom. Our oldest daughter Taylor, who is my mini-me, is now in college at SFA, but she played through high school and our youngest daughter Tatum plays competitively. (Yes, we’re all T’s!) My family is my greatest accomplishment and I absolutely love being a wife and mom. We love to travel and one of our most treasured places to visit is Isla Mujeres. I enjoy cooking and make dinner almost every night of the week. I love to have a great glass of red wine while reading a book or hanging with my friends by the pool. In my spare time, you will find me dreaming about ideas for a wedding or party because it’s who I am and what makes my soul happy. I cannot wait to share my passion with you and help create memories to last a lifetime.

I absolutely love planning and organizing, everything from themed birthday parties to lavish weddings! I always knew I wanted to be some type of planner or teacher. In college I thought I would become a financial planner, until I realized I loved working with people way more than working with numbers. During this time in college I started working for a wedding stationery company. Seeing one small piece of the wedding planning process made me want to dive deeper into weddings. In 2005, after graduating from Baylor University with a Marketing degree and a minor in Family and Consumer Sciences, I went to work full-time fulfilling my dreams as a wedding planner. What I discovered is that I really love helping people. I have a compassionate heart to serve others and lead them through the process of planning a wedding. My attention to details (maybe even OCD) is my biggest strength. I bring 15+ years of experience as a Certified Wedding Planner and a network of outstanding professionals to each of my clients. I have met so many great people through the event industry. When I started working at Tami Winn Events, Tami and I soon realized how well we complimented each other. Together we became a power packed duo. Getting to do what you love with the people you love is the recipe for success in my book. I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without the constant support of my biggest fan, my husband Derek. He has been my rock watching our three daughters while I am gone on weekends working. Say a prayer for Derek, he lives in a house full of girls! When I have a weekend off, I enjoy watching my three girls play soccer (I wear the “Soccer Mom” title proudly), cuddling with our two dogs, and watching Hallmark movies (I am a sucker for a good romance movie). My kids are the light of my life and I love creating fun memories with them. My favorite place to travel as a family is Disney World; it brings out the inner kid in me! Life lessons I hope my kids learn from me are – to be dedicated to everything you do, have a compassionate heart, and do what you love!

I am 44-year-old mother of 2 children and 2 fur babies. I grew up in Odessa, moved to Waco, and landed in Fort Worth, which I absolutely love! My children are my wildest dreams, my biggest challenges and what makes me alive! My boyfriend Cecil and I have been together for what seems like forever. We met in high school and somehow ended up in the same area in our 40’s. Three years ago, he invited me to a concert, and we have been together ever since. He has 3 adult daughters and I happily call them mine. I get my love for flowers from my granny, my love for production from my papa, my drive from my daddio, my need to see people happy from my mom and my strength from my sister! Without these people I would not be who I am today! It has been a long journey getting here. I started in the medical field at 18 which I loved, but knew I wanted more. In 2012, one of my friends mentioned a weekend job she had setting up events. I was intrigued! I love weddings and the thought of setting them up and being part of a bride’s important day sounded like something I would enjoy. I was persistent for 2 years asking if I could work events and then one day the call finally came. Tami Winn Events needed some extra help, and I was asked! I cried with excitement…NO JOKE! I worked almost every event I was needed for. I also bugged Tami to help with anything she needed including assisting in the design studio or cleaning buckets and mopping. Really anything and everything just so I could learn more, absorbing all I could. In 2018, I worked an event with Jamie and mentioned that I was looking to leave the medical field. The very next day Tami reached out and asked if I would consider working for her full time. I did not even give her time to change her mind before I said YES!!!!! So here I am, doing exactly what I love full time and for a team that I believe in with all my heart. And in my spare time when the fun of events has ended, I enjoy sitting on my patio talking with neighbors or at my local pub having a cocktail or craft beer. I sit with the love of my life laughing about what life has taught me, what I still get to learn and where I plan to travel next. Oh, and if anyone ever asks who I want to be when I grow up, I tell them TAMI WINN!
